January - Nice meeting you all
So, it all began.
I met my tutor group. Seven of us come from five different countries, speak seven languages in total. We bonded with the help of Karl Fazer chocolate, Friends, boy band songs, and our tutor Sini's cat. We started to plan things that we need to do together during our time in Turku, even though it just started, and a few of us did not unpack at that time.
My work at Turku Teacher Training School started in a dark and snowing morning. After a 40 minutes bus ride from my dorm at the student village, I finally met my mentor Dr. Niemi and her class. As I received more smiles from students every day when they greeted me, I started to feel that things would work out just fine.
