I will think about the feeling of snowflakes on my face on my arrival day; The sound of Sini’s cat purring; The sound of stepping on the snow by the Turku river; The chorus of second graders’ song at assembly; The combined taste of Piirakka and coffee; Huskies licking my face; The chopstick tutorial for my friends; The hidden message of the puzzle for Easter egg hunting; The loudest music on Vappu Day; And the best and longest group hug for goodbye.
I miss everything about Turku a lot, but I would not let the best memories bring sorrow.
“You know how everyone’s always saying seize the moment? I don’t know, I kind of think it’s the other way around. You know, like the moment seizes us.” “Yeah. Yeah, I know. It’s constant, the moment. It’s just … It’s like it’s always right now.” ---- Boyhood
